Forms of Therapy
South Shore Family Health Collaborative offers a diversity of forms of therapy. Whether you want to bring your partner or entire family or meet as an individual, our therapists will provide quality assistance around
Our couples therapists focus on improving patterns of communication between partners, with the hope of creating moments of intimate connection in the therapy room. Our couples report decreases in criticism and blame, increases in the ability to express personal and relational needs, and improvements in sexual experiences.
Family therapy can help strained relationships, teach new coping skills and improve how your family works together. Whether it’s you, your partner, a child or even a sibling or parent who’s in crisis, family therapy can help all of you communicate better and develop new behavioral patterns. Working with a family therapist, you and your family will examine your family’s ability to solve problems and express thoughts and emotions.
We want to help you have healthy, enjoyable relationships, and one of the most significant factors to having these interactions is the ability to care of yourself. Individual therapy provides space for you to explore these difficult components in your life in the safety of an empathetic, confidential therapeutic relationship.
Life coaching is a more informal way of talking about problems. It is focused on a specific issue: developing a new life after a break-up or divorce, doing better at work, finding ways of having better relationships, talking about our sexual life, or a host of other problems that we cannot quite figure out on our own.
